Connecting your accounting software
HSBC Innovation Banking customers can automatically send account information directly into your accounting software using the Manage Bank Feed Service in HSBCnet. Save time and stay organized by setting up a one-time connection. Send statement data for HSBC checking accounts, saving accounts, and some loan accounts. Up to a year of historical data can be synced once the connection is made.
HSBC currently supports the following accounting software applications: Quickbooks Online, Xero.

To set up your connection in HSBCnet:
- Log into HSBCnet.
- From the HSBCnet menu or within the Account Information service,select ´Manage bank feeds´.
- Select ´Connect and manage´.
- Follow the instructions on the page to complete the setup.
HSBCnet will automatically send statement data once the setup is complete. A maximum of 365 days of transaction history can be sent from HSBCnet immediately upon creating the connection.
Note: To learn more about the "Manage bank feeds" service, visit the "Account Information: Manage bank feeds" page in the HSBCnet User Guides portal. Click on the "Need Help" icon on the right side of your screen and select the user guides link along the bottom of the window.
Experience secure and convenient connected banking
Looking for a secure and convenient way to link your financial accounts with various apps and services? With client consent, an account connection can be established and exchange data in real time while maintaining control over the data that is shared.
HSBC has partnered with Plaid, a US-based fintech that safely and seamlessly links your company’s bank account details to third party apps and services. Plaid has an established network of over 12,000 fintech companies, from budgeting apps and expense management platforms to other financial institutions.

Log into your third-party to check for Plaid connectivity. If your third party uses Plaid for connectivity, and you’re an HSBCnet user, follow their instructions and onscreen prompts to complete authentication and account sharing and consent. If connectivity is not available, check back soon, as we will be expanding our third-party integrations in the months ahead.
